Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lou Hughes of Flint Hill, Mrs. Mary Toms of Strasburg and Mrs. Lillian Young of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Marshall Peyton of Washington, D.C. and 25 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Carter Allsberry at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Front Royal. Interment was in Good Hope Cemetery. □
Ritter
Amos H. Ritter, 64, of Huntly died February 11, 1975 in Winchester Memorial Hospital. He was a Clarke County native, a son of the late Thomas A. Ritter and Anna Owens Ritter.
Survivors include his wife, the former Sidney Elizabeth Williams and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, Winchester conducted by the Rev. Roy Mathena and the Rev. Charles Harless. Burial will be in the Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.□
