Mrs. J. Bruce Baumann and Jennifer have returned from a European trip which included a visit with Triends and a tour of England and Holland.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Atkins and daughters, Christie and Jackie, of Roanoke spent Sunday with Roger’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Atkins.

Weekend visitors in the Randall Earley home were Miss Linda Close of Burlington, N. Dak., sister of Mrs. Earley; Tim Rush of Eighty Four, Pa. and Jim Grieser of Archbold, Ohio. Miss Close remained for a week’s visit.

Mrs. Andrew R. Williams spent the past week in Newport News, the guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniel, and family. While there Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Daniel called on Mrs. Evelyn Bowies in Mechanicsville and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Groves in Ruther Glen. Andrew Williams drove to Newport News Saturday and was accompanied home Sunday by Mrs. Williams.

The needlepoint workshop at the home of Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey Tuesday morning had an attendance of 12 ladies. Mrs. Llewellyn Allison, the instructor, was assisted by Mrs. Corinne Del Grasso and Mrs. Flo Duvall, both of Flint Hill.
