Thornhill
Miss Virginia Thornhill, a native of Woodville, Rappahannock County, died February 5, 1975 in a Staunton hospital. She was 83, the daughter of the late James K. Thornhill and Sarah Elizabeth Mitchell.
Miss Thornhill was a retired teacher, employed with the government to teach the children in Indian reservations, mostly in the western United States.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Littie Bowers. Three brothers predeceased her.
A graveside funeral service, conducted by the Rev. John McKay, was held Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. □
