THE Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles says that renewal license plates for trucks, tractors, trailers, and motorcycles went on sale February 10 at all DMV branch offices and license agencies.
Although the earlier selling date adds 15 days of buying time to the normal period of March 1-31, Commissioner Vern L. Hill reminded owners that the new plates should not be installed on vehicles until March 1. He urged the public to take advantage of the early availability to avoid a rush as the March 31 deadline approaches.
