WAKEFIELD School in Huntly has announced the appointment of three new teachers for the 197576 session. Joining the Wakefield faculty are Michael Moody, Waldron O’Connor, and Camille Harris.
Michael Moody, the new English instructor, received his B.A. Degree in English from Roosevelt University in Chicago, his M.A.T. Degree in English and Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has pursued additional graduate work for his PhD. at Emory University in Atlanta. Before moving to Warren County, Va., Moody was administrative assistant to the dean of the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago, an instructor at Sacred Heart College in Belmont, N.C., and a teacher in the public schools of Maryland. In addition to his teaching duties, Moody has devoted part of his time to an independent writing career. He has adapted the Book of Job to a dramatic form with musical and visual accompaniments, and is the author of numerous poems and a script for an educational TV film on contemporary education
