AT LEAST 24 teams will compete in this year’s running of the 25th Annual Invitational Handicap Mixed Doubles Whistle Cup Rappahannock County Tennis Tournament, according to Mrs. N.K.G. Tholand, chairman of the event.

Round-robin elimination matches will begin at 10 a.m., or thereabouts, on Sunday, August 31, at the tennis courts of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Parrish, Judge and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead, Dr. and Mrs. Werner Krebser, and Mr. and Mrs. James J. Kilpatrick. Finals will begin at 10 a.m. the following day at the Kilpatrick court on Route 621, two miles west of Woodville.
