Aviation Machinist’s Mate (Jet) 1-C Ribble C. Blaisdell has been named Sailor of the Year for 1975 aboard the NAS Cecil Field. He was commended for his sustained meritorious service and was selected for the honor by his Captain, L. S. Kollmorgen.
The Captain said: “Your performance in the Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department has been truly outstanding and is worthy of the highest recognition. Displaying uncommon devotibn to both the Navy and your community, you epitomize the desired image of today’s career Navy man. Your technical expertise in jet engine maintenance is unsurpassed.”
