IN THE area of math, there was an increase of about 29 percentile rankings. Rappahannock students outscored 29 percent more students in the State at the end of the year than they did in the beginning.
This program will be continued again this year. Of those students who participated in the program last year, eighty percent will again take part as sixth graders. Approximately sixteen incoming fifth grade students will be selected to participate in the program on the basis of the criteria extablished by the State.□ _
