The stone well in Washington which was deteriorating and in need of repair has been restored. John R. Eastham, stonemason and his aide, Ted Barbour, were completing the job Tuesday. The wall was restored to its previous function and style after a controversy was settled pertainiic to iL Some of the council members had wanted the wall style changed while the residents of the area preferred the restoration to preserve it as it was previously.
