A REPORT from Washington contains good news for conservationists, fanners and everyone who is interested in both preserving land for agricultural production and in cleaning up the environment.
The report has it that the federal government will propose changes in water pollution laws which would stop payments for the costs of sewers and sewage treatment plants wMch are designed for future growth. Federal spending on such facilities would be limited to systems built only to serve the current population.
