I would like to encourage your readers to use the Recycling Center in the Town of Washington located behind Merrill’s Station. We are far behind the monthly volume needed in order to keep a trailer parked there.
We take newspapers, magazines, cardboard, glass containers (clear, green and brown) tin cans (labels removed and flattened) beverage cans and aluminum. . All containers must be clean.
The Recycling Center is open every Saturday from 10 to 2. We have a monitor who will help separate the materials.
In order to receive as much recyclable material as possible for this week, we will have the trailer open on Wednesday after
