VIRGINIA hunters have completed another successful big game hunting season. Preliminary indications are that Virginia will set a new record for deer harvested. While Rappahannock hunters did not exceed the record 408 for the county, they did have an increase over the previous year’s total of 359. The 385 deer checked this year was the second highest figure recorded.
