January 24 Washington Fire Company along with Castleton, Amissville, Flint Hill answered a call to a fire at McKendrick Blankenbaker’s home at Laurel Mills. The Castleton Rescue Squad carried Mrs. J.U. Blankenbaker to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad carried Benjamin Frazier from his home in Chester Gap to Warren Memorial Saturday January 24 and Sunday the 25 the unit carried Howard Jones from his home in Flint Hill to Warren Memorial.
Sperryville Rescue Squad carried Mrs. May Clatterbuck from her home in Ole Hollow to Culpeper Memorial Saturday January 24.□
