The first of 50,000,000 tree seedlings to be planted in Virginia by May 1, 1976, are now being shopped from the Virginia Division of Forestry nurseries. Here are Loblolly Pine seedlings, packaged 1,000 seedlings per bundle. Approximately 700 to 800 seedlings are needed to plant one acre. Besides seedlings for wood production, a variety of species are available for other uses such as wildlife plantings. See the County Forester or Chief Forest Warden for information.
