THE ANNUAL VIRGINIA BEEF INDUSTRY Convention, which encompasses the annual meetings of eleven beef and meat organizations in Virginia is scheduled to be held at the Sheraton-Fredericksburg Motor Inn on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, February 5, 6, and 7.
On Thursday, the 5th, in the afternoon and evening, the various breed associations will hold their annual meetings and banquets On Friday morning the Virginia Cattle Feeders, the Virginia Livestock Markets Association, and the Virginia B.C.l.A. will hold their annual meetings. The Cattleman’s Luncheon with keynote speaker will be at noon on Friday, J.H. Brinker, president. A.O. Smith Harvestore Co., Chicago, 111., will speak on “Opportunities for Agriculture.”
On Friday afternoon, the Virginia Beef Cattle Association will hold its annual meeting. On Friday evening the awards banquet and entertainment will be staged for all attending the convention. On Saturday morning, February 7th, an educational program is planned that will wind up by noon that day.
