Mears thought that, in any event, the sales contract between the Updikes and the Carrigans had expired. James Leake of Panorama Realty spoke from the audience to state that the contract has not expired.
Mrs. Updike aereed. ‘‘It is still a contract, an amendment extended the date.” She added that her attorneys were “still on the way from Culpeper,” and could elaborate on that point when they arrived.
