IN MEMORIAM
In memory of our beloved husband and father who departed this world eight months ago. (Family of the late Eugene B. Atkins)
Daddy Christmas time is here again To many it will bring lots of joy and cheer But we all know it breaks our heart To know that we all have to be apart. But we keep telling ourself that God knows best So he came to get you so you could rest. Daddy you left us all so sudden We had no time to say goodbye
But we’ll all be with you one day up in the sky. God needed you for a reason— what we’U never know But work or worry you’ll have no more. We recall that last day around noon And have had the feeling you knew you were going home soon. We know you are resting in a happier place We only had you for a short time but you were the best. Please God look after him that he may suffer no more We’ll come to see you daddy one day on that beautiful shore.
