FAIRFAX HUNT’S RACE MEETING on Saturday, February 19, at; Belmont, near Leesburg, will inaugurate the upcoming Virginia point-to-point race season, it has been decided. The Fairfax meet is also a new addition to the Virginia Circuit. Casanova Hunt’s meet, which has led off the season for many years, will be second in 1977, on Saturday, February 26. Peter Winants, chairman of the Virginia Point-to-Point Advisory Council,: said the following dates were also approved: Rappahannock, Saturday, March 5. Blue Ridge, Saturday, March 12. Warrenton, Saturday, March 19. Piedmont (at Upperville), Saturday, March 26. Middleburg, Sunday, April 3. Old Dominion, at Ben Venue in Rappahannock County, Saturday, April 9.
