A CONSTRUCTION committee under the chairmanship of Gen. Andrew J. Boyle has been named for the Little Fork Church Restoration, it has been announced by Welly Hopkins, chairman of the project’s Executive Committee. Also serving are John H. Hitt, Col. Richard Nalle and L. P. Nelson, Jr.
“Cash and commitments in hand at this time are sufficient to initiate one of the four major phases of the restoration and preservation program,” said Hopkins.; “Response has been generous and has come more quickly than anticipated. Therefore, we are moving forward to start actual work as soon as specifications and working plans can be prepared and bids solicited. We are most grateful for the community support thus far and look forward to its continuing to completion of this important program.”
