LIBRARY HOLIDAY .
The Rappahannock County Library will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 1976, and re-open at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 1977. The staff wishes everyone a happy holiday season.
Caroling
Rappahannock County’s annual Christmas Caroling will be Sunday evening, December 19, with everyone gathering at Trinity Episcopal Church parish hall in Washington, by 7 p.m. Carolers will stroll through the streets with old laterns and cheer. Those who wish may go to adjacent towns and serenade.
Carolers should bring lanterns to carry if available and wear Colonial costumes over warm clothing, if possible. It is also suggested that the carolers bring some cookies; hot chocolate will be provided at the parish hall. Everyone is welcome.□
