Mrs. Mary Lea returned home last Thursday from Bedford where she attended the wedding of her grandson, Jay Cargill. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Giles, Jr. attended the wedding of Page Moffett Saturday in Charlottesville returning home Sunday. Sunday overnight guest of Stant Weaver was his granddaughter, Miss Patty Peneranda of Fairfax. Mike Hicks of Culpeper was a Sunday visitor. Monday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda and Mark of Fairfax and Mrs. Clay Walker and Christie of Shepardstown, W. Va.
Miss Mary M. Wood joined by Mrs. Earl K. Edmonds of Huntly visited Miss Annie M. Almond in Culpeper Memorial Hospital Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blevins of Manassas spent Memorial weekend at their home in “Tiger Valley.”
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John W. Norman accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey M. Wharton and Cindy of Amissville to Story Book Land near Woodbridge and had a picnic lunch.
Miss Ginny and Billy Boswinkle of Newport News visited their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. J. Boswinkle-Kaufman. Saturday evening they gave a strawberry shortcake party for Mrs. W. C. Campbell at her home.
