Barksdale, NewbiH Miller, Pate Lake, George Muth, David Fannon, Walter^ Mastenon, and Allen Stokes, members of the Planning Commission, will hold a public hearing to recommend to the Board of Supervisors whether or not the farm land near Flint Hill, that Mr. Good bought and is now seeking to subdivide, should be zoned residential.
If this subdivision is allowed, others will soon appear and the taxes will start to climb, our beautiful hillsides will end their productivity and turn into suburbs and the destruction of the rural environment of Rappahannock County will begin. The few will make money at the expense of the many.
This rezoning must be prevented. The will of the Rappahannock people must be made known to the Planning Commission, I urge you to advertise well this next meeting of the Commission so that concerned citizens wap be present.
