Her comments on Special Thursdays, an article that appeared in the May 19 edition of the Rappahannock News, was only a glimpse of Laurie. In less than three months or only 12 days of lunches, she has logged many memories for herself and has gotten to know these people of your county better than many of you who have been around them all your lives. Since our program runs on a shoestring and a thin one at that, she paints houses so she can afford to eat and uses her van driver day to be with our people. My work has been made easier by her. Thank you, Laurie, for writing. Thanks to the newspaper for giving the space.

In Geneology
Dear Editor,
I would like tc see a Geneology column in our paper; perhaps space for contributions of local history as well as queries from elsewhere. I am especially interested in obtaining locations of cemeteries and names of those interred in what is now national park land.
I am also interested in organizing a county geneology society which surrounding counties would be welcome to join.
