Susan Jane Fulmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Fulmer, Sr. of Quakertown, Pennsylvania was married on May 28, 1977 at the University Chapel in Charlottesville, Virginia, to Edward Page Moffett. Mr. Moffett is the son of Judge and Mrs. William F. Moffett, Jr., of Washington, Virginia. The Rev. Jennings W. Hobson, III, officiated at the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a long white formal gown, accentuated by a high-necked floral bodice and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white sweetheart roses and carnations.
Matron of honor was Patricia A. Walker of Phoenix, Arizona, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Margaret Brozicevic of Burlington, Vermont, Marjorie White of Reston, Virginia, and Carter Welling of Saratoga Springs, New York, sister of the groom. The matron of honor wore a simple long blue gown with scoop neck and cap sleeves, and the bridesmaids similar dresses in pink, green and yellow. All carried multicolored bouquets of spring flowers and wore ribboned picture hats.
The mother of the bride wore a floorlength gown in peach shades. The mother of the groom wore a floorlength beige gown, accentuated by blue and coral flowers and full sleeves. William F. Moffett, III, brother of the groom, was best man.
