The bag limit for hunting raccoon in the counties of Bedford and Rappahannock shall be two a day. R16-9. Except as provided by local legislation, the bag limit for hunting raccoon shall be two per hunting party, taken between noon of one day and noon the following day, in all counties west of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The season bag limit shall be twenty-five raccoons in the aggregate, taken by hunting and trapping combined. R16-10. Except as otherwise provided by local legislation and with the specific exceptions provided in the regulations appearing in this article, the season bag limit for trapping raccoon in all counties west of the Blue Ridge Mountains shall be twenty-five in the aggregate, taken by trapping and hunting combined. R16-11. The bag limit for trapping raccoon shall be three per license year in the counties of Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Buchanan, Carroll, Craig, Dickenson, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Henry, Lee, Montgomery, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Roanoke, Russell, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe. CHAPTER 18. Turkey. R18-2.1. It shall be lawful to hunt bearded turkeys only from April 15 through May 13, 1978, both dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 11 o'clock a.m. Bearded turkeys shall be hunted by calling. It shall be unlawful to use dogs or organize drives, for the purpose of hunting. CHAPTER 24. Trout Fishing. R24-3. (c) There shall be a continuous open season for taking trout in any stream which the Commission has authorized to be operated as a trout fishing preserve without creel or hour restrictions. Such authorization will be given by the Commission only when such stream Is stocked with trout at the owner's expense in an annual quantity approved by the Commission subsequent to the owner's application for tentative approval. Such preserves shall be deemd to be within the purview of Paragraphs 2978 of the Code of Virginia and shall not be exempt from license requirements. COMMISSION OF GAME AND INLAND FISHERIES
