Bill Duncan arrived home from V.P.L Thursday and left Friday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan for a weeks visit with Major and Mrs. Phillip Duncan in Columbus, Ohio.
The Rev. and Mrs. Percy Bane and Miss Nina Jenkins attended services at Free Methodist Church, Waynesboro, to hear their nephew, Rev. David Stout and were afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lertie Tutwilier in Staunton. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Curtiss have returned to Seminole,, Fla. after several days with the Banes.

Miss Cathy Boyd was given a Bridal Shower by the ladies of Slate Mills Baptist Church Friday evening. Callers of Miss Boyd and her parents later were Mrs. Sarah Coates. Mrs. Ross Coates. Stephanie and Susan of Madison and Mrs. Bernice Coates of Brightwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Everette Hoffman and Wayne of Culpeper were Tuesday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Carter White spent several days with Mrs. E. M. Driscoll in Williamsburg. They also toured Yorktown and Jamestown. Weekend guest of the Whites was Mrs. Mildred Pierce of Fredericksburg. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dodson of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Dodson of Reva Park.
