The worst dry spell to hit Virginia in decades has prompted the Virginia Bankers Association to cosponsor, with the Virginia Agriculture Credit Committee, a Special Agriculture Conference on Drought, to bring together all agriculture lenders to review the various programs that can be of assistance to their farm and rural customers affected by the drought. The meeting will be held August 4 at the Ingleside Inn just north of Staunton.
