Mrs. Evelyn Hickerson with Mrs. Marie Estes and Mrs. George Moore of Front Royal joined a chartered bus load of church friends at Woodstock Saturday to go to Akron, Ohio and attend the Rex Humbard church services over Sunday.
Stewart North of Marshall called Sunday on his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam North. After a three-week visit with the Norths, Mrs. Laura Beatty left Thursday for her home in Rockville going with her nephew, Arthur Curry of Baltimore, who was a Thursday visitor.
Mrs. Suzy Kendall of Front Royal spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Andrew R. Williams, and Mr. Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean Holdaway received word of the adoption August 3 of a son,' Guy Brandon Phillips bom May 6, 1977, by their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Phillips in Leesburg. This makes the tenth grandchild for the Holdaways.
