The Rev. Ray Crockett has returned home after a week spent at Duke University in Durham, N. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Burrell Luttrell and children left Thursday for their home in Silsbee, Texas after visiting Mr. Luttrell’s father, L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis and family.
Mrs. Milton Miller of Coldchester, Conn, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. W. Latham and with her had dinner Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Other dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. lames Smith of Chevy Chase, Md. and Billy Dunn of Burke. Mr. Doyle was in Winchester Wednesday afternoon to visit Mr. and Mrs. Leslie McNemar and Candy Todd returned to the Doyle home with him after being a guest of Melissa McNemar for a few days.
Willie Hackley is a surgical patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
The WMU of Amissville United Church had a picnic Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Ruth Corbitt
Mrs. Sarah Latham spent Saturday in Fairfax on business and had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley at Falls Church. Sarah Kearns Hoadley returned home with her grandmother and was joined Sunday by Mr. Hoadley for an overnight visit. They returned home Monday night.
David Streagle of Camp LeJeune, N. C. spent the weekend with Mrs. Streagle, Shannon and Marc.
