tuition payment to Culpeper for an elementary LD student. “If Culpeper cannot accept this child, it will leave us with another problem to solve,” he said. “Either an adequate education will have to be supplied here in Rappahannock,’’ Hogan continued, “or else tuition arrangements will have to be made with another adjoining county.”

The School Board voted unanimously to allow Hogan to place the child in a Learning Disability program.

Hogan also asked for authorization of $1250 tuition to place a Rappahannock pre-schooler in Culpeper’s pre-school special education program. He told the Board that Piedmont’s early childhood education specialist had recommended the move and noted that 60 per cent of tuition costs were reimbursable from the state.
