Fauquier County Superintendent of Schools S. Harold Lamm, who labeled Sherertz a “union boss,” said Monday that it would be both “impractical and illegal to fire a teacher for speaking out.
“I’ve never found anyone here who is bashful,” Lamm said. “Teachers here frequently speak out when they have a grievance.”
