Fast becoming traditions in Virginia are the pick-yourown or select-your-own orchards that sell directly to consumers. And again this year, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Commerce (VDAC) has compiled listings of these orchards.
These VDAC brochures are available in many local Virginia Tech Extension offices. If not, consumers may request them directly from the VDAC at P. O. Box 1163, Richmond 23209.
