The Horseshoe Tournament at the Rappahannock Recreation Center will start at 9 a.m. Saturday with the men’s competition, followed at 1 p.m. by the women’s match. Individual matches will be the best two out of three games. A game will consist of 21 points. Contestants are

Workshop
Dr. Beatrice Kalka, Extension Specialist, Clothing and Textiles, will teach a workshop on the latest in sewing techniques and how to sew with knits at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 26 at the parish hall.
It will be repeated at 7:30 p.m. at the parish hall. This is a good opportunity to learn new quick methods and also refresh yourself on the old traditional ones.
