What a beautiful editorial in your Sept. IS edition, and such nice advertising for our lawyers.

However, I think now equal space should be given to all the other businesses and professions in our county.

You don’t have to be a college graduate to know about the years of schooling lawyers, doctors, dentists, must have to become what they are, but how many people do you think readily realize the amount of continued schooling and training, not to mention money, involved in many other business areas.

Most people don’t mind paying for experienced consultation, but just how many businesses can charge for this. N

People would flatly refuse to pay a bill for consultation from an insurance agent, real estate agent, building or materials contractor, retail merchant, auto dealer, decorator, landscaper or investor, just to name a few.

Lawyers sell their service just as the foregoing mentioned businesses. The only difference being is that they :an charge for their service and knowledge.

Unless you buy something from these other businessmen and women, they don’t make any money, even though they have given you their service and knowledge. They have tremendous overhead, in:luding advertising, from the lay they open their business.

Dentists and doctors :harge for what they do to rou and some even charge for :elling you what they will :harge to do something to rou! True, these people are :ollege graduates, but does inyone know or care that nany of these other >usinessmen and women also lold college degrees? I agree with every word of four editorial, but I feel you lave touched many people in i very sensitive area and you vill only be able to calm hem by giving equal space in % rour editorial area to every lusinessman and woman who loes not receive comlensation for many, many - lours of consulation with no ale.
