Wins Ride

Patty Alexander and Candy Coombs of Flint Hill traveled to Maggie, North Carolina last weekend where they competed on a 50 mile two day competitive trail ride in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Winning the Sweepstakes Award for high scoring horse was D’arcy, a V* Arab mare ridden and owned by Patty Alexander. This qualifies D’arcy for her National Championship Award under the criteria set by the North American Trail Ride Conference. D’arcy had already earned registry in the Endurance Horse Registry of America on a 100 mile one day ride in 1976 by finishing in the top ten.
