Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins, Kim and T. J. of Culpeper called on Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Tom Perry has returned home after spending some time with her daughter, Mrs. Donna Kerns, in Manassas Park.
Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Arlington was a Wednesday overnight guest of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley, last week. From last Thursday until this Monday evening, the Weakleys and Mrs. Carroll camped in Harper’s Ferry where they attended an arts and crafts festival. Mrs. Carroll spent Monday night with the Weakleys, returning to her home on Tuesday.
Grigsby
Funeral services for Jesse Randolph ' Grigsby, 20, of Castleton were held Wednesday at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Lindsey Savage. Interment followed in the Grigsby family cemetery at Castleton.
Mr. Grigsby was killed in an auto accident Saturday night near Ben Venue.
Born in Rappahannock County, he was the son of Mi. and Mrs. Henry Grigsby of Castleton, and had lived in the county all his life. He was employed by Keller Manufacturing in Culpeper. Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Henry Grigsby of Castleton and William A. Grigsby of Front Royal; and two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Ketchum of Amissville and Mrs. Angela Hawkins of Castleton.

Meets Oct. 11
The monthly meeting of the Culpeper-FauquierM ad ison-Orange-Rappahannock Counties Legal Secretary Association will be held Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the law office of Edgar F. Puryear, Jr., Madison, Va. The program will be on the Equal Rights Amendment.
