DELEGATE CANDIDATE John “Butch” Davies and House Agricultural Committee Chairman Ford Quillen were at the Rappahannock Farmers Co-op on Tuesday to talk with Gordon Hiomhill. Unfortunately, county farmers were busy cutting hay but, at Davies’ request, Quillen said he would try to arrange an Agricultural Subcommittee meeting to be held in the 25th District to hear farmers’ comments on problems with drought aid programs.
