The Cancer Answer Service, a toll-free statewide telephonic information system sponsored by the American Cancer Society (ACS), Virginia Division, is now in operation.
By calling 1-800-552-79%, information about cancer, treatment services and facilities, patient services, and information about the American Cancer Society and its programs is readily available to all Virginia residents. This is a toll-free service which may be used by Virginia residents in every part of the state, except the Richmond area.
Specially trained volunteers will be working each weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive requests via the Cancer Answer Service.
