Jesse Randolph Grigsby, 20, of Castleton was fatally injured in a single vehicle crash in Rappahannock Saturday night. A passenger with him, Mathew Dean Hitt of Sperryville, sustained a broken left shoulder and lacerated left leg.
This is the first fatality on Rappahannock roads this year. The crash occurred on Route 679, a portion of old Route 211, seven tenths of a mile west of Ben Venue.
