Chimes Dedicated
A ceremony was held Sunday at the Amissville United Methodist Church when the chimes which have been installed were dedicated. The chimes, given by Mrs. G. E. Doyle, in memory of her father, the late T. W. Latham, and in honor of her mother, Mrs. Flora Latham, play several times each day.
Among those of the family joining Mr. and Mrs. Doyle and Mrs. Latham for the dedication were Mrs. Milton Miller of Coldchester, Conn., Mrs. James Smith of Chevy Chase, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Dick Walter, Mrs. Ella Rowzie, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rust and grandson of Wheaton, Md., Mrs. Sandra Todd and Candy of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ebert of Florida, Mrs. Mae Chapman of Annandale, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Rowzie and sons David and Russell of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Sheppard, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith, Mrs. John Flickinger and children, Frosty and Tiffany and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Childs, all of Hyattsville, Md.; Louise Moreland, Catherine Manley and Carrie Taylor, all of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Latham, Dickie Latham of Viewtown and the Rev. and Mrs. Ray Crockett of Jeffersonton. The group enjoyed a covered dish luncheon at the Doyle home in Amissville.
