Since the ski area proposals in the special use permit would have a major impact on the county, Forward suggested that the meeting recess until the complete application is published for two weeks in the Rappahannock News. He added that Moore should have the opportunity to amend his application before it appears in the paper. George Muth seconded the motion and James Massie added that he would like to have preliminary drawings included so that the BZA members “can see everything.”
Admiral Gardiner noted that in previous zoning action, the BZA had required a preliminary plan to be submitted in almost every case.
