Make 1978 a healthy year for you.
Maintaining good health is no longer the mystery it once was. Today, it’s a matter of adhering to basic commonsense rules that health experts say are workable.
1. Eat wisely.
2. Exercise regularly. But remember, jogging may help some people but could harm you unless you check first with your physician. Walking is an excellent exercise.
3. Stay immune./ Most communicable diseases can be prevented through vaccinations.
4. Don’t smoke. Most experts agree, if you don’t smoke, don’t start. If you do, quit. If you can’t quit, at least cut back.
5. Drink moderately. After only one or two drinks, judgment is impaired, reflexes slowed. Worse, heavy drinking will often lead to poor health, sometimes accidents.
6. Rest properly.
