Miss Marie Antoinette Boone of Lineboro, Md. became the bride of Randall S. Updike of Washington on Saturday, December 17, 1977 in a ceremony held in the Black Rock Church of the Brethren at Brodbeck, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Boone of Woodbine, Md. Mr. Updike is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike of Washington, Va.

The Rev. Charles M. Bieber performed the ceremony at noon and a reception followed at the Westminister Riding Club, Westminister, Md.

Mr. Boone gave his daughter in marriage. Her floor length gown of Alencon lace on satin organza was fashioned with a high neckline and empire waistline with a chapel train. The sheer bodice and long sleeves were adorned with motifs of lace and delicate seed pearls and the gown was edged with Alencon lace. Her head piece was of pearl frosted Alencon lace and seed pearls edged the veil. Her flowers were roses, mums and carnations.
