To the editor:
I am most grateful to the people of the 7th Congressional District for the confidence they have placed in me through having chosen me to serve them in Congress.
I have had inquiries as to whether or not I intend to seek renomination and reelection to Congress in 1978.
The answer is yes.
Although I am privileged to be serving my fourth term, each campaign has been undertaken only after most careful consideration as to whether or not I felt I could make a useful contribution in this area of public service over the ensuing two years, while maintaining my family obligations.
