Change
The regular meeting of the Washington Volunteer Fire Dept, and Rescue Squad will be held on January 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the fire hall. This has been changed from January 2, which is a holiday.
Dawn Harms
Plays in Miami
■ Dawn Harms, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harms of Amissville, will perform with the Radford College Highlander Band Dec. 31 in the annual Orange Bowl parade in Miami, Fla.
The 97-member band, dressed in authentic Scottish Highlander military garb, will appear in the NBC televised portion of the parade, starting at 8:16 p.m.
Miss Harm is a flutist in the band, which will also perform Jan. 14 in Governor Dalton’s inaugural parade in Richmond. She is a freshman theatre major at Radford College.
