Mrs. Bessie Paries has retired as news correspondent of the Huntly and Chester Gap areas for the Rappahannock News. Home responsibilities and arthritis are preventing her from continuing in this capacity. Mrs. Parks has done an excellent job of reporting news from that area, and it is with regret that her resignation is accepted, according to the associate publisher. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty.
