Mr. Trussel was born in San Francisco and began his operatic career at the Oberlin Festival in Ohio as Lt. Pinkerton in “Madam Butterfly." This tenor is not
only a superb linger but is a good actor as well. His fine acting got him into roles in broadway plays and is reflected in his bringing to life a wide variety of operatic roles. Wherever he has appeared, he has evoked praise.
He has appeared with many U. S. Orchestras including the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony and the Florida Symphony.
Mr. Trussel graduated from Ball State University where he received a Bachelor of Music degree, and has been the recipient of grants from the Martha Baird Rockefeller Foundation and the National Opera Institute.
Admittance is only by membership in the Culpeper Community Concert Association.
