However, due to the coal shortage, Walker said full power at the Aileen plant wasn’t turned on until 7 a.m. and was turned off again as soon as employees left at 3:30.
“We’re cutting back to just what we need to operate,” said Walker. "Whatever is required, we’ll comply with.”
