X-tra juice can be gotten from lemons and oranges if you will roll them or heat them in hot water before squeezing them.

Y-ou can boil a cracked egg by wrapping it in waxed paper and twisting the ends lightly to keep it on the egg while boiling.

Z-ip up 3 ounces of cream cheese with Vi cup of chili sauce, '/« cup of horseradish and Vi cup of sour cream for a good cheese dip or spread.

CHICKEN LIVER PATE

Flint Hill, Va.

Saute 1 lb. of chicken livers in VA T. butter. Remove to separate pan.

Saute 3 chopped onions in butter used for livers. Remove and add to livers.

Chop or grind livers, onions, and 3 hard cooked eggs. (Blender may be used)

Add brandy or cognac (2 T.) to thick consistency and salt and pepper to taste.

Make into ball or use mold. Chill 5 hours.

Serve with rounds of rye or crackers.
