In a unanim6us vote at Monday’s budget meeting, the Rappahannock School Board decided to extend the school year by one day and skip the Memorial Day holiday in order to make up time lost to snow. Other calendar revisions include holding classes on March 6, 22, 23 and 28 to cover additional days missed due to weather. If more of that nasty white stuff doesn’t descend on Rappahannock, class will let out for summer vacation on June 8 and no one but the teachers will have to go to school on Saturday.
